Dr Chung obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgeon (BDS) in 2012 from AIMST University, which is one of the oldest private dental schools in Malaysia. In 2018, she has passed the College examination in Orthodontics in General Dental Practice and received the title of Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE) in year 2018, and has later joined a comprehensive implant course provided by McGann Post Graduate School of Dentistry (USA).

Dr Chung began her career in 2012 by being posted as Dental Officer. Later she served as permanent dental officer in Oral Surgery Department, Hospital of Duchess of Kent. Since 2015, Dr Chung joined private sector in Klang Valley and later worked as dental surgeon in LohGuanLye Specialists Centre, treating patients of different backgrounds and ethnicity, gaining experience in all aspects of general dentistry before relocating back to her hometown, Sandakan and founded Vivian Chung Dental Clinic in September 2023.

Dr Chung practices a wide range of dentistry including dental scaling and polishing, dental filling, teeth whitening, clear aligner, conventional braces, veneers, crowns and bridge, dental implants, root canal treatment, gum treatment, wisdom tooth extraction, children dentistry and etc.

Dr Chung has special interest in dental implants. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing high quality dental care and it is her promise to give her patients a pleasant visit every time they come to the clinic.
